Holding Power Lightly: Place Based Funding

A funder situated within a community has proximity, but there is also inherited weight of systemic power. This power, easily rooted in extractive and oppressive structures, must not just be "held lightly," but actively and radically redistributed. After five years of place based funding in Gloucestershire, here are some reflections from our place based lead on what it really means to fund and lead responsibly.
